World Trade Organization and EAAPA

Executive Director of EAAPA exhibition, Chairman of the Committee for conferences, seminars and exhibitions of SAPIR Association Vladimir Loginov took part in the 8th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization in Geneva, which decided to join the Russian Federation to this prestigious international organization. A full member of WTO Russia will be no later than the end of summer 2012.

First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov headed the Russian delegation. On the Russian side the final document was signed by Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina, on the part of the WTO is the head of the organization Pascal Lamy. 

WTO unites 153 (now with Russia - 154) countries, fall to the share of 97% of world trade. The organization's mission is to promote world trade. 

The Protocol will enter into force within 30 days after its adoption by the Russian Federation.
