“EAAPA-2011” Results

From 16 to 18 February 2011 in Moscow in the International Exhibition Center “Crocus Expo” was held the 4-th Eurasian Parks and Attractions Expo – “EAAPA – 2011”. The project was realized by the “Smile-Expo” LLC and supported by the Union of Associations and Partners of the Amusement Industry (SAPIR) and the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).

 

This year EAAPA Expo has demonstrated a sustained positive trend in the development on the way to recognition as the largest exhibition in the amusement industry of Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe. More than 100 exhibitors from 16 countries occupied the area of 4500 square meters showcasing modern rides, amusement machines and entertainment equipment. More than 3500 industry professionals from 69 Entertainment regions of Russia, many of the CIS and foreign countries visited the exhibition.

 

Within the “EAAPA-2011” exhibition took place the International Conference “Modernization and Innovation in the Russian Amusement Industry”. The conference was a natural reaction of the industrial community to the more active use of modern technologies in the industry. The seminars and business training courses were attended by more than 120 directors of parks and recreation centers, specialists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Lipetsk, Kiev, Alma-Ata, Sterlitamak and many other cities of Russia and CIS countries. Industry professionals from Turkey, India, Italy, Israel and Ukraine took an active part in the conference.

 

Within the conference with great success were held two business trainings: “Academy of Effective Entertainment Centers” and “Academy of Effective Parks”, and also the event-table “The use of modern advanced technologies in the organization of festivals, corporate events and promotional events”.

 

The main task of this year’s conference was the panel discussion by all interested experts pressing issues of equipment modernization and creative approach to the work of the amusement industry and implementation of new technologies for the successful development of the industry.

 

The 4-th Eurasian Parks and Attractions Expo – “EAAPA-2011” has become a significant event in the amusement industry of Russia and CIS countries. The event allowed exhibitors to establish new business contacts, obtain professional knowledge from leading industry experts, feel the market trends and to outline future plans.
