“EAAPA –2008”. Results

    The first  trade show of “EAAPA-2008” (Amusement Parks and Attraction Expo) took its place in Moscow in IEC “Crocus Expo” on March, 24- 26.  
    The exhibition was organized by “Smile-Expo” company. Visitors of the exhibition has got an unique opportunity  to take a closer look at progressive development in amusement industry as russian as international manufacture. One of the main aim of the exhibition was mutually beneficial bridging between producers and consumers of park and amusement equipment.

    Inauguration of exhibition was accompanied by festive show and cutting the red ribbon by Anton Loginov, CEO of “Smile–Expo” company and Rudik Kasyan, honoured worker of Russian culture.
    During declaiming at inauguration Rudik Kasyan noted: “When I was going to Orlando (the largest amusement exhibition in the world – note) was enviable and offensively. Offensively that they have but we don’t have. We also like and want amuse. Like and want to relax in modern and safe parks and amusement centres. Now we can say that we have our own exhibition. The exhibition which must be engine of the amusement’s development!”
    The show was provided by russian info magazines such as: “Azart”, “AIC”, “Prazdnik”, “Prazdnik Plus”, “Vending business”, “Billiard Sport”, “Inavate”, and the largest foreign one’s such as “Game Time International”, “Coin –Op”, “InterGame”, “InterPark”, “Hot Games”, “E-play”. More than 5 TV channels and 20 mass-media cover the show broadly.
    More than 60 companies which produce and offer the whole service in sphere of park and amusement took place at “EAAPA-2008”.
    At “EAAPA-2008” exhibition was presented great amount of park and amusement equipment: from karting and swings till huge two-three –storey air palaces and rockdroms, amusement equipment for parks, malls, children’s and portive grounds, lottery equipment, safety and control systems, skating rinks (artificial cover). The novelties were presented by companies ItalPark, LotProm, ITO, ODA, Karusel, KSIL, LNT-Centre, Alawar, SmartGames and many others from regions of Russia, the former Soviet republics and foreign countries.
    In the context of “EAAPA-2008” the press-conference and  Congress took place concerning relevant themes of amusement industry development in Russia. Professionals and experts has answered on journalist questions about condition of the branch and its dynamics, tendencies in amusement sphere in Russia, new directions, technique regulation. And after completing the first day in club “Samolet” was held the party with bowling tournament, consecrated the inauguration.
    During the work hours the show has been visited by more tan 3000 specialists working in the sphere of amusement from different regions of Russia, the former Soviet republics and foreign countries.
    As a result of taking part in event was successful signature of cooperation contracts but also sale of presented equipment.
    The next exhibition of amusement and park exhibition “EAAPA-2008” will take place on February 11-13, 2009 in Moscow in IEC “Crocus Expo”.
